In the early 70’s Dick was employed at the Nevada Test Site and for some unknown reason he recognized that he had a love for bowling. For a number of years, he successfully competed in every Test Site and Southern Nevada tournament. He also bowled in two leagues at the Showboat (Charlie Brown & Western Scratch).
In 1980 he became a member of the Southern Nevada Bowling Association and remained on the board until 1999. During his tenure on the board he served on every committee and ended his service as the President. For his many years of exceptional service Dick was inducted into our Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service in 1993. Dick leaves behind a loving spouse Janet and his son Scott. |
