Susan participated in just about every tournament held by the local associations. During her time in the valley, she had the opportunity to bowl in events sponsored by the Las Vegas Women’s Bowling Association, Henderson Woman’s Bowling Association and the Boulder City Women’s Bowling Association.
To say that she left a mark would be a gross understatement. She finished atop many of the events she bowled in. She was married to Carl Nixon who continued to bowl long after Susan decided to call it a career. The fact that she and Carl passed so close together makes you think that they had an appointment at a halo themed event and didn’t want to make the trip unless they could go together. Might be that they signed up beforehand for the doubles event |
